Did your surgeon Change the shape of your stomach? If no, then you did not have VBG. Call you doctor to find out what you had. It sounds like you had the banding done.

It sounds like you had the lap band, but there are so many versions of each surgery that I would just ask your surgeon what exactly happened for you.

Your profile has you down for Adjustable Gastric Banding (aka Lap-Band) not VBG. There is no "capacity" for the nonadjustable band which is just a silastic ring...only the lap-band has fluid capacity.
