2 part DS Surgery Stories Please

Being an SMO patient with a BMI of 70, I have decided on a 2 part Duodenal Switch surgery. In the first part I will have a Vertical Banded Gastroplasty with Sleeve Gastrectomy. After loosing about 150lbs, I will be able to safely have the DS part. I'd like to hear from people who have had either a 2 part DS surgery, or the VBG/With Sleeve. I want to know how you did with the VBG/With Sleeve.Was it hard to stick to your food program? How long before you could have the second part? Any complications?
