Is VBG like stomach stapeling??

Question??? I the VBG simular to the operation performed years ago ???

Hi Louella, Yes... it is similar. The premise was the same... to reduce the size of the stomach. However the operation perfomed years ago was done differently and the "new" stomach would stretch out. They have refined the mechanics of the surgery to fix that problem. So basically... it's just a smaller stomach at the top of the old stomach. Sharon -117
