40lb gone :jump:

Hi all its been 12 weeks and I am down 40lb and it been work my pouch is big so I have too realy watch it so I do not eat too much I try to keep to drinking 16 oz of water befor eatting . 3 meals of no more than a cup of food each. one or 2 snacks around 1200 cals or less low fat and suger.but can go as high as 1500 but try not to. walk 3 mil a day 6 days a week 30 to 45 min. I am doing it I have realy never been able to keep to it before so I a realy working to keep it up I feel good that I am doing it I wonder if I can make 15-20 more by Jan 1st I am going to be layed off on the 12 of Nov. I plan on working out mor and staying out of the food . I am still not sure what the insurance will pay they have sent a letter saying they will not pay for the RNY or the take down of the old intesal bypass I did not have the rny so things are a mess and so far it like $73000.00 so I am not very happy with my Doc or the program but I am doing what I can but realy pissed at the Doc. so glad you are here all you vgb's people I do not know what I would do with out you thanks for letting me vent . love to hear how you all are doing I check in a few times a week hugs to you all allyson harris

Sharon thank you for your reply. I had surgery 12 weeks ago and I have lost 40 lb so far. I have realy made some big changes and am working very hard my pouch is to big I think ( 8 to 9 oz ) but I am walking and watching my food in take because I am so afread of over eatting this thing and gaining or not dropping. It is very slow a lb a week if I am lucky I stay the same for a week or two and then drop 2 lb but I tell my self I am doing the best I can and I know I have done it all in the past so this is how it is my doc said I got the same size pouch everyone has but the have the RnY not the vgb so that how it is he thinks I have a very good surgery and should be greatful but I am not I am a self payer for the vgb and the insurance is paying for the other surgery I had at the same time but now the insurance is not going to pay for the outher surgery but the doc office said they will work on it but it is a big mess so I am a little upset and there is very little I can do . but I am not eatting over it an for me that is good . thanks for being there allyson
