question about pre-op

Lisa- I had my surgery Aug 9th and I also wondered why I wasn't having to do all the "cleanout" stuff. I was only told to not eat or drink after midnight. I had no problem whatsoever. I did have an NG tube which sucks everything out anyway. I know you're nervous but don't worry! If your doctor wanted you to fast, etc..., he/she would have told you. You'll be fine!!
