Gas Pains...Is this normal?

I had open VBG on 8/9 and came home from the hospital yesterday. This morning I started having bad gas pains after I eat. Is this normal, is there a way to relieve it? I feel great (well, as great as you can after major surgery****il the pains come along. I am on a full liquid diet so I'm not sure if this is just my body getting back in the swing of things, or if I'm eating something that is causing it.

If you do not feel better... please contact your surgeons office. However, when I was a "new" postop I found that walking after eating helped. The walking helped me to release tiny burps. Sharon -115#

Sharon.. I'm one year out and still have the burping problem..I wonder if that ever goes away.. I litterally eat burp, eat burp.. I'm grossing out my family..LOL.. Mari -85lbs
