Sharon, OK, Here we go, day two with NO sugar. I don't eat breakfast, had a half sandwich for lunch, now if I can just keep my sanity for the rest of the day I can do it! I will have a great workout tonight because I am well rested and am getting off sugar. Looking forward to that> (can you tell I'm trying to talk myself into it?) I like to listen to music or have someone to talk to when I work out. It helps the time go faster. I do sometimes like to just walk and daydream. Walking during work breaks is a good way to get in a short walk. I walk a half a mile to get my lunch so I get in a mile per day that way if I eat out. If you don't like walking much, you should definitely try out the aerobic class. If you have fun, you will keep doing it! I want to get back to playing racquetball again. I really miss it! Thanks for keeping me motivated Sharon Tammy

Hi Tammy, I hope you were able to "keep your sanity" and had another triumphant day! Do you feel physically better after a couple of days of no sugar? I am sure that you must feel mentally better. Be proud of yourself; give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done! Walking is "ok". I would like to try the aerobics thing just to be with other "people" doing exercise. I am very into the group support network at this time in my life. Trust me when I say that I need all of the support and encouragment I can get to help me through life. I did get my 64 oz of water in for the day (took me 8 hours) and MANY, MANY, MANY trips to the restroom!!! And I took a 1 mile walk with my son in the evening after we were done fishing (I mean after he was done fishing). He caught one keeper sunfish. So I am happy to report I made my daily goal. YEAH ME! I am going to keep on with the 64oz of water; otherwise I won't drink it. So for today -- 64oz of water, walk & no REFINED SUGAR! Have a GREAT & SUCCESSFUL day! Sharon -109

Ok, OK. Because of your posting of your exercise, I went out and walked 1/2 mile. I was walking after surgery, but had to attend a class on the 12th day after surgery and was exhausted for a week. But today I got out, and I have you to thank. Thank you.
