Hi Sherri... I am in Peterborough and I too have Dr. Abawi. Have you met him yet? I had my initial consult in april 2004.... quick but informative meeting. I am awaiting a surgery date..... trying to be patient Feel free to write me... it's nice to see someone close to home on this message board.

Hi my name is Connie and I had my consult with Dr. Abawi in Jan 2004. I haven't received my surgery date yet but I am looking forward to getting it done. This is certainly not the easy way out. This surgery requires a strict diet and exercise routine for it be successful. I hope everyone does well and keep me posted if you get a surgery date. Connie
