Hi Karen, I did`nt weigh post op until I was about 3 months post op. But I did lose 113 lbs in 8 months. I got within 25 lbs to goal before I started cheating. I`ve gained 40 back. So don`t make the same mistake I made. Keep following your doctors orders and this is the time to be careful with your pouch. Remember the three important keys. Water, protein, and exercise. Your doing great. Keep it up.

Thanks Janna!!! I am still trying to eat healthy!!! I haven't had much time to excercise in my busy work schedule either I think that has a lot to do with it!!!! I hope i can lose what you lost in 8 months !!!!! I is a blessing everyday when I have realized I have lost... I want to try not to gain any back!!

Hi Karen! I'm three weeks post-op and have lost 19 lbs. My doctor says that VBGers usually lose 8-10 lbs/month, so I'd say you're way ahead of the game! Good work! Kris
