Happy Friday All!!! Here's my update. I had surgery on 3/9/04. On 3/19/04 I was down 26lbs. I went for my next weigh-in on 4/23. Now, my aunt is estatic about my weight loss. Before my visit last month, she and my uncle were guessing I had lost 100lbs or more. I thought she was crazy. I went to ehdr and I was a bit dissappointed. I was only down 11lbs!!!! The nurse told me I was doing well, but I felt like I should be losing more than 2.5 pounds per week. So, I decided to really concentrate on my protein. No more mashed potatos and chili (*sigh). It's all about a scrambled egg for breakfast w/ 1/2 slice of cheese, home made chicken salad for lunch or justhe chicken out of a Healthy Choice meal, dinner is usually a salad (love the Grilled Chicken Caesar at McDonald's). My co-workers are starting to notice my progress and my close are getting looser. I think I was losing a lot more inches than weight. I've started seeing a nutritionist and I'm joining Curves next month. Life is really good and I'm feelling great. I started at 475, was 438 on 4/23, and am still going strong. I haven't weighed myself since April because I have to invest in a scale that goes past 330 or 350lbs, which are hard to find. But it's better I don't have a scale at home because it would be my master. So good luck to all on your journey!!!
