Hi Alysia, I am now almost 3 years post-op, so I eat very differently than a newer post-op. But for the benefit of others as well as yourself, I thought I would share what I ate the first 9 months. Breakfast: 2 Tbsp. scrambled egg 1 Tbsp. oatmeal 1 Tbsp skim milk Lunch: 2 Tbsp meat ( I liked the meat out of Lean Cuisines or Smart Ones) 1 Tbsp green beans 1 Tbsp cooked carrots ( or whatever non carb veggie came with the frozen entree) Dinner: 2 Tbsp meat ( same as above) 2 Tbsp vegetables or fruit Lots of water in between. I walked every day. I lost 113 lbs in 7 months. No drinking 30 minutes before and for 1 hour after eating. Today I had: B-Oatmeal L- beans and 1 smothered tamale D-mixed fruit and some cheese s-yogurt and some cookies (bad) This is fairly typical for me. I could use some new ideas. It will need to be easy , hence was why I ate alot of frozen entrees. But I am open to any new ideas. Good luck, Janna
