Hi I am just wondering how all who had the VBG surgery are doing? I did really good so far down 130lbs since 6-03-03 but weight has slowed some haven't lost or gained in a month. Would like to hear from you all Robin

HI ROBIN, I HAD AN OPEN VBG ON 9-16-03 AND I`VE LOST 72 LBS. I`M DOING REALLY WELL, AND I`VE ONLY HAD ONE PLATEAU, TO DATE. IT SOUNDS LIKE THAT IS WHAT IS HAPPENING TO YOU RIGHT NOW. THE SURGEON SAYS THIS IS TOTALLY NORMAL, AND THE LOWER YOU GO, THE SLOWER YOU LOSE. YOU ARE DOING GREAT. LOVE, ELAINE OPEN VBG 9-16-03 222/150/122 -72

Hi Elaine Congrats on the weight loss Glad to see you answered my post I see that the board isn't as busy as the main board but I like to come in here and see what is happening with other who have had the vbg because most on the main board have had the rny. Robin
