surgery date set

Congrats Lisa!! I am scheduled for my consultation next Tuesday. I have heard things go fast with my doctor so am hoping for a surgery date around the same time as you. I am pretty sure I am going to go with the VBG and am excited also. I wish there were more people on this site but hopefully it will catch on soon.

I had open VBG in late June 2001. I am pleased with my results. I was really blasted because I chose VBG over RNY BUT I don't regret it at all. I have had a panniculectomy for skin removal and feel great.

I am so happy for you Lisa, you must be feeling pretty good about now. My VBG is scheduled for August 12th, I still dont have a time or anything yet but I am really crossing my fingers that this will be my chance to get back on my feet as it has so many others. God Bless

Hi Lisa ~ congrats on your recent VBG!! I had mu surgery on June 16th, 2003 and have lost 34 pounds so far. I feel so much better!! Just you wait....you will be feeling awesome!! Terri
