LEGS HURT

I HAD SURGERY ON FRIDAY NOW I MILD CALF PAIN IN BOTH LEGS BUT ONLY WHEN I RUB THEM; IS THIS SOMETHING I NEED TO BE CONCERNED ABOUT????

I don't think it is something to be alarmed with.   I vaguely remember NOT being able to touch mine and especially it seems for a few months after the precedure not even being able to have my pedicure with them rubbing my legs.    Not sure "why", but it just seemed to hurt.   If they begin to throb or really ache, then call Dr. E.    I really don't think it is something to worry over.

I wish you all the best from this precedure.   I am only 10 months out but am very pleased with how I feel.    I had mine done with Dr. Chan.   He was wonderful!   I cannot say enough good things about the Va Team of Doctors!     Just take it one day at a time.  

As far as the ones that are negative to this precedure, I really from what I have been reading it seems that they either had the VGB or the one years ago.    This since 2002, has changed and unless you really sabatoge as with any other surgery, you should be fine.    As of date, nobody has died that had this precedure done by this team of doctors.    Hope this helps to eliminate the fears........

I am sorry but the reply above is from bluecrab. I was at her house today and I logged in and she forgot to log me out and then log back in under her name. to funny.. I had my surgery done with Dr. E and loved him.  I had my surgery done on December 2 and as of today have lost 34lbs. I feel great. best of luck

Yikes!!!   I didn't even notice this.   So So Sorry!!!!   Anyways, I think Marie would have wrote maybe some of the same as she is more a newbie and with Dr. E.    Their office is only a phone call away if you feel that you should be seen to get it checked out.    I hope you will do great and look forward in hearing your great results!!!!   Sorry Marie..........lol, but yeah it was funny.    I just read the board message this evening........thanks for letting me know........

Blue Crab is right. My legs felt funny for a while but have calmed down. As she said their office is only a phone call away and i am sure they have heard everything there is to say.
