Yea - well... aparently there's nobody in the office anymore to do adjustments or anything. Last I heard, Phil got the boot.
Dr. Greene is on board to help anyone who needs emergency-care or anything.... if you can get up to Rockville.
yeesh. What a Mess.

I got a generic letter from him dated February 29, 2011 today in the mail. It explains the wonderful opportunity that came up for him in Jacksonville and suggests several surgeons who will see his patients. The icing is that he will provide copies of your records for free. Mighty nice of him. Anywho might have meant more if it had been mailed in February or March. Nope mine was dated April 21, 2011. Guess in the hurry to leave someone forgot to mail them.

HI Lisa Iam doing good. Mix it up each week don't stay with the same amount of calories. Your body gets use to a routine and then we feel we are stuck but we are not. Just add some cardio and try to keep the carbs and fats low. But don't skip a meal that will just low your metabolize down. You can do it girl I know ya can.

Crystal, everything will be fine. I have already started changing a lot of the recipes that I used to eat to make them more Bariatric friendly. I will be sure to post them as I create them. I go back for my two week check up this Thursday - 28 April, I hope I can make the transistion to soft foods. I have some ideas for my cottage cheese pairings.

I had the WLS orientation on November 4th, day after my birthday and the surgery on the 13th of April. Once I got out of the ICU and into my room I only had one roomate. I went in on a Wendsday adn checked out of the hospital on the 15th in the afternoon. The nurses and Corpsman were very attentive. The only problem like with any hospital stay was being woken up all the time for the vitals check. The blood thinner shots in my stomach werent even that bad! It was also a plus that they took out my foley before I left the ICU so that the corpsman didn't have to do it. Not ready for him to get that personal with me! The pain pump they gave me I think it was morphine made me a little queasy but once they took that off and I was on liquide pain medication I was alright. Be sure to walk, drink, walk, drink as much as possible, the more you do it the faster you will be out of the hospital!
