Hello Everybody,
I had my surgery last year at Fort Lewis, WA Madigan Army Medical Center. Now we received orders to Fort Lee, VA and I am desperate to find a new PCM that is NOT judgemental about people that are/or had been overweight. I know this must sound weird to you but I met a couple of PCM's that were rude and did not understand people with weight issues. My last two PCM's were absolutely wonderful, friendly, kind, humerous and most of all they did NOT push me into tests etc. They listend and took their time explaining things.
Can anybody help me finding a PCM like that again?
(Richmond, Fort Lee, Colonial Heights, Chesterfield area would be great)

Hi Amanda- Im in Chesterfield. I start my liver shrinking diet on Monday, then Sleeve surgery on the 22nd with Dr. Brengmann. Good luck to you.

You are having normal thoughts and frankly if you weren't worried about it then I would worry. I know that this group isn't a person to person group but if you need help just ask and those of us who have went through this already we will help the best way we can.

I'm from Powhatan, but I work in Richmond and will be having my surgery done at St. Mary's with Dr. Brengman on February 13th. I'm having revisional surgery from lap-band to RNY. I actually just started my liver shrinking diet today.
Pre-Surgery Weight: 253 lbs.
Current Weight: 135-140 lbs.
