Last night was a blast! I so enjoyed working around the horses but it was so terribly hot.
Today I have a job interview at one of the local businesses. I rescheduled my interview in Orange to Monday morning. I spoke to the owner at Curves and she is selling her place but promised to give the new owner my resume.
So, we shall see how this all pans out. Tonight I go back to the barn for about an hour. One of the other workers gave me a pair of boots! I feel special lol. Then we will go to the concert at the courthouse.

Yesterday was a smelly day. The landlord came and painted the bathtub with this horrible smelling stuff. Good thing it wasn't a real hot day. I had the whole house open with fans blowing. Wow, what a stink! Today is much better and I must say the bathtub looks like new.

We found the perfect loveseat for our living room. We can sit there and look out the window, watch the fire in the winter and even take a nap. Our dog will like it too to watch outside and snooze. That thrift store across the street is very much a temptation lol.
Well, today, I was going to go on an interview but may need to reschedule. Having maintenance folks coming out early and I need to show them a few things. We got ADT put in. I think that is important since we live in the city.

Not a lot available for us Culpeper/Fauquier residents. Charlottesville (UVA) or Northern Virginia (several doctors who are out of Fair Oaks hospital) are basically the only options. At one point there were some doctors & such in Winchester but the reputation of the hospital was not good.

Today will be a busy day. Have an appointment with my new VR counselor, we get ADT installed, have to do some shopping for the pet, and I have my webinar tonight. WOW. I like busy days!

Looks like we are back to the heat. Well, I sure enjoyed my Saturday and Sunday. Now, today, hubby is home and we will do things around the house.

Had an awesome dinner with friends last night. We all left smiling and anticipate meeting again. Today, is church then I think it's time to hit the books. I felt that this is something I can't put off any longer. I hate procrastination. I don't understand why I do it. Several walks with the dog, of course and then we shall see.

I am sitting here in the cool breeze of open doors and windows. Seems like it has been a long time since I have felt this much coolness. I am very thankful.
Well, I lost the job I was going to start in September but I think I am ok with that. I need to refocus my energies on other things.
Tonight we meet with some new friends for dinner but today, I am not sure what I will do. I know I need to start studying again but..... we shall see.

Last night was a great night! We went to the 3rd Thursday Summer Concert. The band played oldies and also dressed up to let you know who they were copying. It was so much fun to see oldsters like me out there dancing. THAT was unique!
Today is wash day. I will have to tell the landlord the issues we are having with the washer, and the plumbing in the bathroom. It's sort of nice not having to worry about all that myself. Tonight is Open Mic at the coffee shop. I will be telling one of my short stories since I haven't been practicing my whistle in like forever.
I just need to get motivated to hit the books again. Grrrrr.
