med alert braclet

I plan to order a med alert braclet from the Laurens Hope site and am wondering what exactly I should have printed on the back of it. Not sure how to word the engraving? Thanks for any help on this! Lorraine

Hi, Lorraina I ordered my medic alert bracelet from Lauren's Hope also. My doctor said to put: Post Gastric Bypass Surgery 8/30/05 (the date of my surgery). I also have two major allergies and they are on there as well. My bracelet was here in less than a week! I love it! Hugs! Jill

Mine says "No blind NG tube" and also lists my allergies but I've seen them that just say "gastric bypass patient"and GASTRIC BYPASS - DO NOT BLINDLY PLACE NG TUBE - USE ENDOSCOPY, Gastric Bypass RNY Patient and some people put their surgeon's name and number. You should also check out https://elijahsmom.com http://www.rosemarybeads.com http://www.creativemedicalid.com They have the same kinds of things but since it's something you're going to be wearing every day you really want to like it . Lorraine! Mine says RNY 4-25-05 Dr. Hutcher and phone number No Nsaids No blind NG tube Must carry water at all times ICE DH's name and phone number I ordered mine from ebay. It was the only one I could find that looked feminine. It is 14K gold and has the medic symbol on the outside and the info on the inside. It was $83.00 total. The must carry water has helped me to be able to bring my own to movie theaters and amusement parks. It gets really expensive to buy water ALL day when we go to Kings Dominion or Busch Gardens! {hugs} Tammy
