Hey everyone, I am now an offical loser. I had my surgery on the 6th and now I am 3 days post op and feeling good, getting my liquids in with no problems and my protein. I was having a problem with GASSSSSSSSSs but I got rid of that problem quickly...lol!!! My dr. said that my surgery went perfect, he couldn't have performed a more perfect surgery, no problems or nothing. Then when I came up to my room, I was in pain but they gave me some happy time meds which helped out alot and it was only pain from the air they pumped in me. Up until the wheeled me to the OR I was nervous yet calmed. I wasn't crying or anything like that. But I was ready and I prayed. My mother came right before they took me back, she got lost. LOL!!!!!! But once I got in the OR they moved me to the table and put the happy time mask on me and the next thing I know they were telling me to take deep breaths, it was all over..lol! I was like wow, but I was like I am in PAINNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!! The next day was better. Still had pain from gas but that was it. I was up and walking the nite after I had surgery and the next day I was walking too. Dr. Terracina came in the room and was like you look good, you don't even look like you had surgery or anything. I told him I felt great!!!!! The rest of the day, I rested and had the Upper GI which I will say that mess is some nasty tasting stuff...yuck!!!! I was like oh my goodness!!!!! I asked for a towel to wipe my tongue off...lol!!!!! The day of discharge I got my tube out and my instructions and Dr. Terracina said he would have sent me home the day after surgery but he wanted to be sure that I was not having any problems or nothing would come up. Again he commented on how well I looked and I appreciated that. I got home and layed down a bit but I was not tired, I have the energy and it just does not feel like I am just out from having surgery!!!!! It almost seems too perfect, but I know that my Lord is looking over me!!!!!! Mrs. Ellie and April, I want to thank yall for coming to see me and keeping my spirits up. It was nice to have someone there that has gone thru what I have went thru...and everyone at the hospital was so nice!!!! Well that is my story, I will keep posting on my profile of my progress. God Bless!!! Hugs, Kennie

Yippppeeee! So happy it was a breeze for you. Somebody told me that gas stuff is wicked. I heard that when it leaves you it feels like it's coming out of every where....even out from under your fingernails. Still take it easy and get your rest! Amy
