Did anyone NOT lose hair after surgery????

Will increasing your protein lessen this side effect of WLS? I have read about many people lossing hair..but to tell the truth I don't have that much to lose !!! I have long thin blonde hair..very fine. So if I start lossing a bunch I may as well hang it up !!! I bought the biotin, been increasing the protein now. Any suggestions would most gladly be appreciated. Dana

I have not as of yet (out 10+ months). It's not as thick as it was but I'm almost 45 and it was getting thinner anyway. I believe women notice it more but I also inderstand that it'sa temporary thing and protein/biotin help. Good luck. Dave

ME! I did not lose my hair. I have been really good on keeping my protein intake where it should be and also using mane and tail shampoo and conditioner. It works really well and can be found at wal-mart in the h and b section. I am just over 9 months out. Tammy C
