Hey guys! I've had a stricture before at 2 months out, but I'm wondering what is going on with me, and it sort of feels like that again. Is ten months out too far out to have developed one again? Suddenly I am having a really hard time keeping food down again. 4 out of 7 days this week I've . Not fun, I know I'm not eating too much and it's meat again. UGH. Any thoughts? TIA Jen off for

Bummer! I was hoping it would be something else cause the last time I had an endoscopy at Walter Reed it was not pleasant! I'll just have to make sure I don't get the same dr again! He had no clue. Jen

I was really hoping the pepsid would do it, but nope. I made it home by because I didn't want to get out and in the rain! Was not easy. Oh well...I love Thai food too! The soup was so yummy. Maybe I should just be a vegetarian! We have to get together more often! It's really not so far! Can't wait for you bday weekend. Woo Hoo Girls night! Jen

Jen, I have NOT had my surgery yet..but working in the ER I have had at least one patient come in with one who was over a year out. Call your WLS or go to the ER for worsening. You just need to have it evaluated early. Hope all turns out Okay for you !! Lots of well wishes, Dana

Thanks Dana. I hope it isn't that and that my tummy is just being tempermental for a while. It'll do that occassionaly. Just realizing how often I had lost it this week after months of not made me nervous. Jen

Jen, I think it is more unusual to get them farther out but certainly possible. I hope you can get it resolved very quickly. Feel better! Hugs, kathy

Hey Jen, I don't have any advice to offer but I will keep you in my prayers. Positive thinking coming your way. None of us want to go through anymore than we been through. I don't even know what causes stritures. But I have had endoscopy before. Just before they did my gall bladder surgery. They wanted to make sure my pain wasn't coming from something else. Keep in touch and let us know what's going on. Until then my prayers are with you. Lots of Love Kathy
