Long weekend's work....

Spent 1 hr. Saturday and 6 hours today at work--getting ready to be gone for 2 weeks. I am almost down to the wire and way past ready to go. Now I have to pack for a week in Richmond, including microwave, tv, Game Cube for Cody, books for me and tons of protein. Extra pillows and covers, computer, cards, food for Co and my sister. Sounds like I'm moving in there doesn't it? Lois

HAHA, Melinda! Sounds like it doesn't it? We're going to be holed up at the HH for 5 days--and will undoubtedly get bored. I am hoping to feel up to doing lots of walking. Don't want my daughter and sis to have to eat out every meal, hence to microwave. Lois

Lois, you are definately going to be in my thoughts and prayers on Wednesday. I wish I could come visit you as you did me but it is a long walk....hehe. Sounds like you will be set! Hope you have a minivan to get all that stuff to Richmond I truly wish you the best with your upcoming surgery and hope that is uneventful for you. Be sure to let us know how it goes once you feel up to it. I will be on the lookout for you! Best wishes! Julie

Thanks to all of you for your well wishes. Either my sister or I will let both JoAnn T. and Tammy C. know when I am out of recovery so that one of them (or both can post. I don't think we will have be able to use the internet in the hospital, so I am thankful for the helpful members of our Va Board Family! Love to you all! Lois
