Morning VA Buggas! Wow! There are lots of new people here. Last week I did a post asking for names and status! Thanks! I believe there were nearly 40 responses. We continue to welcome aboard anyone who wants to be here! We are a wealth of knowledge and information. So, how was your Monday? Mine was good for the most part. Got my walk in! So..... How will you move your body today? I will take my 2 mile walk and chase the buggas around! Are/have you taking/taken your vitamins? 1st 1/2 gone! Are/have you getting/gotten in your fluids? Uh oh, NO coffee YET this am but I'm having a CIB w/ non-fat dry milk added along with milk then I will switch to coffee and then Crystal Light Are/have you getting/gotten in your foods (and the good ones)? Breakfast will be some scrambled eggs w/ cheese for breakfast w/ a slice of turkey bacon Lunch will be a small Wendy's Chili with a couple crackers and bites of a side salad Dinner well, now that's gonna be a surprise so ????? Well I decided since I cannnot make it to the gym everyday that I would start doing something to move my butt at home. I got up earlier this morning and went jogging. I did 20 blocks. Well I would jog one walk ome. Feels good except I am tired..LOL. Drinking a CIB now. Kind of in mourning at the moment. Last night I was brusing my hair and found two grey hairs right there plain as day. I called my mom and she was laughing at me so I wanted to call her bad names. Mike says he thinks they are cute and I told him to bite me..LOL. No vitamins yet. I am getting my CIB down first since you arent supposed to take the vitamins on an empty stomach. I have no clue what I will eat the rest of the day haven't thought that far ahead. Shannon 357/240/135

Well, for starters I updated my name to "Happy Momma" (that's what my baby always calls me!), and finally found a picture for "before"...think I uploaded it correctly!! Today I am busy, busy, busy running errands. I have my EGD tomorrow, but last night my throat started to get sore and this morning my glands are all swollen I am praying that I don't have to reschedule yet again!!! Other than that, everything is going swimmingly. I had my second consult with Dr. Quioco on Friday (hub went with me), and we're just waiting 'til the end of the month to be able to get a date for surgery...woohoo! I read the posts about the gathering, sure wish I could attend too. My aunt and uncle took me to the Tobacco Company for dinner on my 21st birthday (a few *cough* years ago) and it was fabulous! Well, time to get the oldest out of bed and ready for school. I hope each and every one of you has a FANTASTIC day!!! Hugs from Happy Momma

Hi Kitty Kat! I hope you are feeling better this am. Sound like you are a little more chipper. How will you move your body today? I have an appointment in Roanoke so I don't see myself getting awhole lot of excersise... Are/have you taking/taken your vitamins? 1st 1/2 gone! Are/have you getting/gotten in your fluids? I am still trying to get in the fluids....lots of water and Crystal light... Are/have you getting/gotten in your foods (and the good ones)? I am still on pureed foods so I have to eat the same thing for a few days so it doesn't go bad..worse part..Not sure what I am going to eat today but you can be sure it will be healthy..don't want to ruin this wonderful tool. Busy Monday... started out at 1:30 and didn't get home before 8PM. Last day before going back to work. Tuesday... back to work... My job is very busy, physical, where I'm on my feet at least 4-6 hours. I worked 10 hours yesterday with 2 - 10 minute breaks for "feeding." Here's what I ate: -protein drink -1/4 c crab salad with 4 rice crackers -1/4 c refried beans (left over from Taco Bell) -3 oz shaved ham (not eaten all at once) -1 cheese stick -7 soy crisps -8 apple cinnamon soy chips -1 slice of LF american cheese -Fudge Bar - Healthy choice total of 842 calories, 90 g protein, 49g carbs, 30 g fat. This is the highes in calories I have been so far, but I was afraid I wasn't eating enough before (480-550 calories)... also, the ham and american cheese were "new" foods for me! Took all my vitamins Drank lots of fluid (coffee, water, crystal lite) but didn't measure Too sleepy for exercise Have a good one! Tammy
