Morning VA Buggas! Wow! What a day I had yesterday! I am SO excited! First, I did NOT get in my 2 mile walk yesterday but once again did more house cleaning and furniture moving and get this....chased my lil' bugga Nora around! Yep, she's a hauling some heiny now. Crawling like a crazy lil' gal! We are SO happy about it! She is so cute. Kind of does this crawl on one knee and puts her right foot on the floor and kind of scoots and then crawls on both knees then repeat. SO ! OMG! I got such a beautiful dress for the conference! Dianna I you SO much. It is so nice of you and thanks for all you do always. Because of her I now have a beautiful dress to wear! On top of this she sent me 2 kewl CD's for my listening enjoyment which I really like! On a semi sad note my grandfather's nurse who comes out to care for him has suspected he's had ANOTHER stroke. His speech and movements aren't what they were Tues. We are very concerned but will reserve any freaking out until we know more. So if ya'll could say a lil' prayer. How will you move your body today? I will do my 2 miles this afternoon. In addition, hauling heiny around with my buggas! Kayla thinks it's hilarious to crawl around and LHAO at Nora. Are/have you taking/taken your vitamins? 1st 1/2 about to be popped! Are/have you getting/gotten in your fluids? 24 oz. of 7-11 10/10 going down nice and smooth... Are/have you getting/gotten in your foods (and the good ones)? Oh yeah baby...gonna have me some scrambled eggs and cheese for breakfast, string cheese in b/n, possibly some Wendy's Chili for lunch w/ some of a side salad, more string cheese then for dinner WHO knows? How will you move your body today? After work today, I will go to the YMCA....did 10 miles on the bike in 30 minutes yesterday...so I will try to do that again...then 30 more minutes and 2 miles on the ellipictical machine and a cool down mile on the treadmill....all after running around my classroom today helping my students with their work! Almost 5 months ago I could only stand to do the classroom thing...and NOTHING else! Are/have you taking/taken your vitamins? Took the morning ones...got a flintstone for lunch and then the others for dinner. Are/have you getting/gotten in your fluids? Working on 11 oz. of protein drink (15 grams of protein), then I have 3 20 oz bottles of water that will be finished before I leave the Y today...Usually one bottle between 7:30-11:00...then the other one before/after lunch and the other at the Y...them whatever I get to drink at home (splenda decaf tea or water). Are/have you getting/gotten in your foods (and the good ones)? I had turkey breast for breakfast with 3 wheat thins harvest grain and a stick of cheese...for lunch turkey, wheat thins and cheese and dinner....we will see. Have a great day! Jill

G'morning Kat!! Can't wait to see you in the dress - you're gonna look lovely, regardless of what you wear. If I don't get a grip on my grazing and a big clamp on my mouth, I'll be out shopping for a new dress. Yikes - I told the guys in my life (son and hubby) that once the carbs were gone, which should happen today because I packed a hefty lunch for my hubby.... that we were ALL going to detoxify and chant protein and veggie gibberish for awhile! LOL - so as you can see by my long winded ramble, I havent been doing well with the food choices. The new year couldn't have started soon enough. Gone are all the Holiday treats and temptations that I've YET to learn to say NO too!!! This morning, I'm slurpin' down an ice cold coffee/protein drink as I type this, so there is always hope! Hey Kitty Kat!! That is wonderful that you had a great day! You have done so good on your walking - you deserve a break on day I love hearing about lil kids - it sounds like it won't be long before you have a lil one walking around - or running around! This dress sounds beautiful - what color? That was very nice of her to help you out like that! I am sorry to hear about your grandfather - will keep him in my prayers and thoughts. Let us know how he is. How will you move your body today? I am going out tonight - hopefully going to do some dancing! I might try to sneak in a flew flights of stairs in the downtime here at work. Are/have you taking/taken your vitamins? I am going to buy some tomorrow and start taking them. Are/have you getting/gotten in your fluids? Yes - i have drank lots of water already and more is to come. No caffeine 3 days - woohoo! Are/have you getting/gotten in your foods (and the good ones)? Hi my sweet Kat!!!! I have an early dr appointment this morning with the neurologist...they still don't know about the MS but I am not concerned about that anymore. They are going to order another noisy MRI for this month. It is still a maybe????? What the heck....oh well. At least I know that I am getting healthier by the day.. How will you move your body today? I will be walking alot...and packing Are/have you taking/taken your vitamins? 1st 1/2 down Are/have you getting/gotten in your fluids? getting ready for my big protein drink Are/have you getting/gotten in your foods (and the good ones)? Haven't eaten yet this morning. Not sure what but maybe some left over mashed potatoes and gravy....not a traditional breakfast but .... Can't believe that little one of yours is crawling now...she is such a babe...both of them are. I know they keep you hopping...I am enjoying the Twisted Whiskers sayings....what a hoot... Yesterday had it's ups and downs... Got my am vitamins in ok, and tried a new protein drink. So far, none I HATE, but none that really excite me either... am I asking for too much here? Just realized now that I never took PM vitamin. Then, went to the neurologist for an EMG test... We were gone from home over 3 hours and I hadn't taken ANY food or snacks with me... lesson... have a snack on hand at all times!! I didn't have my first FOOD until I had some yogurt at 2:30 PM. Then made up some yummy crab salad and had it before going to Nat's support group with Wanda. (that was fun!) Fluid... nope, not good there either, but today I'm going to do better!! I have physical therapy on my poor arm/shoulder today... still sore from yesterday. After that, I think I'll go to the gym, the one we never go to, and walk on the treadmill a few miles. I'm going to drop that membership and join Curves, I think. Much closer! Gotta luv Twisted Whishers! **hugs** Tammy
