Kathy, your sister is in my prayers as well. My mother is a 16 year survivor of breast cancer. They have come a long way in treatment options since then. Hang in there. elizabeth

My prayers will include your sister! I know that doctors often tell people they can 'watch' something, but when I was 40, something irregular showed in my mammogram. Tthe surgeon said he thought it was just a cyst the we could 'watch' or he could biopsy it, removing the whole thing. I told him there was no watching ANYTHING to schedule me for surgery immediately. I was a fluid filled cyst, but I rest easy at night. Good thing she asked for the biopsy. A friend had asimilar experience with skin cancer. She had a place on her nose she had a funny feeling about. You could see any changes but she could feel a different texture in one spot. She begged him twice and then said she would go somewhere else if he didn't biopsy it. It WAS skin cancer. God bless to both you and your sis, Lois

Hey Kathy of course I'll say some prayers too. Gotten myself quite a list and whether or not I hear how the person is doing I continue to pray for them. Makes me feel better and gets me thinking about others. Hugs, Kitty Kat

Kathy, Everyone is in my prayers. I know the feeling. My dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer a couple of months ago and has started treatment just a week ago today. It is a lot to have on your plate but the Lord knows what he is giving us! Tammy C

Tammy, My father was diagnosed with prostate cancer early last year. His prostate was 3 times the normal size so he had to go on hormone therapy for a few months. Luckily that was enough and it shrunk to a size that other treatments could begin. He had radiological seeds implanted a few months ago and is doing well. This should be the only treatment he needs. He was very lucky that his wasn't an aggressive form. Good luck to your father and you too! Kathy

Kathy, Your sister is definitely in my prayers. Her case is a prime example why it's soooo important for people to be their own health care advocates!! My dad was just diagnosed with protate cancer, week before Christmas. Outlook is good! Take care Tammy

Thank you so much, Kathy! They are going to try the radiation seeds on him too. He is meeting with the radiology oncologist next week, and then make a plan. Take care, Tammy
