Hiccups???????

My surgeon said that havig hiccups are not a good thing. Just now, I hiccuped three times in a row. I was not drinking anything to get them. Should I be worried??? Melissa

LOL, depends. I get hiccups now if I talk too fast or eat too much. But it could be esophageal spasms too. I'd let him know what's going on and see what he wants to do. Hugs, Tonya

Tonya, Thank you. They are gone now, didnt last long. I see him on Tuesday, and I will be sure to let him know. However, if they get worse I will not hesitate to call him. Melissa

Melissa, I've never heard that hiccups are a bad thing. I will have to ask my surgeon about that one. As a matter of fact, when I eat slowly to the point of just being satisfied I will hiccup three times and then burp. I joke with Brian that that is how I know that the tank is full. lol Good luck, I am sure that it is nothing! Stacey
