relocating

I have the lap band and will be moving. I am looking for a doctor that will be willing to see me.

What part of va are u moving to? There is a bariatric group in winchester, va and my group is in vienna, va. Hope this helps, Vicky

If you go to lapband.com and type in your new zip code under "Find a Surgeon," you will get a list of qualified Lap-Band surgeons in your area.  Look for the small symbol that denotes "Accepts Out of Town Patients," which identifies those of us who are happy to follow patients who have had their bands placed in other areas of the U.S.  Make sure, before you leave your present location, that you get copies of your original Operation Report and any band-fill notes to help your new surgeon know how best to keep your band "running smoothly."

What part of VA are you moving to?  I am from Wellington, KS and currently in Fredericksburg.  If you are moving to Northern VA, Bluepoint Surgical in Woodbridge and Fairfax is excellent!  Good luck with your move.
