I WAS WONDERING IF ANY OF YALL COULD HELP ME WITH A SURGEON. AS BEING MILITARY, I HAVE TRICARE AND THE ONLY SURGEONS I FOUND THAT TOOK MY INSURANCE WAS HALMI AND MOAZZEZ. IM NEEDING RATINGS ON THEM AND IF ANYONE HAS USED THEM AND HOW GOOD THEY ARE. ALSO IF ANY ONE IS MILITARY PLEASE HELP ME I DONT KNOW HOW THINGS ARE GOING TO WORK! THANKS!

See my reply to your earlier email: I'm pretty sure Walter Reed still has a good bariatric program. Don't know of any other military programs or military surgeons in northern VA area. There are 3 of us ex-military types here in Richmond, although it's a bit of a hike (90 minutes IF there are no backups on I-95!)

If you are looking for one in VA, just go to Portsmouth Naval. Don't let them stick you with Dr. Barker though. He will make your life hell.

I go to portsmouth. My surgery is July 7 with Dr. McPhee. I am so excited. Do you go to the nutrition classes and support group meetings? We are having a meeting this Thursday, June 3 at 7p.m. in the cafeteria on the 1st floor. Alot of us are bringing a covered dish. Please come.
