Tina,

Looks like you will have a nice warm Christmas and Disneyworld is so nicely decorated this time of year - you will have a great time!

My favorite things about the Christmas holidays are:

The best gift we're given (in my opinion) & that is the gift of TIME with family & friends & sometimes even those we don't know. The smiles are priceless.

I'm reminded of our many blessings whether they be big or small & even the ones we don't realize yet.

The buggas & their faces & those of my nephews when they open gifts & are happy & even cuter is the way the bargin with one another to "share" amongst one another.

We don't believe in Santa Claus as a rule just the spirit of Santa & that its better to give gifts than to receive & that all the gifts cannot replace each other & the love we have inside.

I adore baking & cooking & that the buggas love to help out. :)

Hi Kat,

I love the fact that Connor is here with me and we can share these things.......... and he gets so excited when he opens presents....... the delight in his face makes all the struggles worthwhile!
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas!!

I think I love it all.  The decorations, the music, good food, fun with family & friends, baking, lights, gifts.  It is all so wonderful!!!

The holidays, beginning with Thanksgiving, then Christmas and of course, New Year's have always meant family and friends for me.  Even with all of the craziness that is the holidays, we manage to make time for each other, even when doing the most mundane things.  Traditions have been a big thing for us for a long time, but this year we will be setting new traditions following the passing of both of my parents and not having them here to celebrate with all of us.  They would be proud!  :)

Nice to read all these Holiday traditions. Mine are all gone and this years well will be  gloomy. But trying to need to weigh again which I have struggle for a very long time to get there, so thats a huge plus for me. Christmas has not been the same for me in 4 years since the loss of my grandmother , uncle and father everything feel apart in my family so nobody does alot. And with me still unemployed an on my own this year things are very tight and so Ill be here this year there has been no cooking and very lil shopping. But Im thankful for my health and will get through this year and with hopes next year will be a better one. I enjoy the lights an music and watching all the xmas movies. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a safe New Year!
