Very favorite thing about the holidays??

Mine is waking up on Christmas morning with my 6 year old son creeping in my room with his stocking under his arm from his bedroom, whispering to me that he wants to get into bed with me and open his stocking because he is afraid to go downstairs in case Santa hasn't been or might still be down there......

It is just so cute because he still believes.............

And I love the smell of Christmas candles......... so festive!

What is yours?

Mine is waking up and thanking God for his Son Jesus who was born to save someone like me and give me eternal life through him, next would be to see my youngest granddaughter open up her gifts and seeing the expressions on her face. Her smiling face tells it all. Being with family and remembering Christmas pass when I was child. Boy has the time change. Blessings to you and all your family and friends this Christmas and through out the coming of a new year.

Well I know my Christmases in the past were never filled with as much as all the gifts that the kids get today!!

I have a few favorites for the holiday!  I love spending so much time with friends and family and having everyone together.  I have 2 beautiful nieces and a very handsome little nephew that makes the holidays even more special!!  Really looking forward to seeing those smiles on Christmas day as they open their gifts.  Another favorite is attending midnight mass on Christmas Eve!

Hi Brenda - it is all about the kids really and their absolute joy at this time of year! I know my son just cannot wait.....

Favorite time was snowy Christmas day with the fire going.   No need to go out just sit in front of the fire.   Mmm  Hot coco

Thanks Carolyn - same to you and your family - I hear they are calling for 18 inches of snow this weekend - so you may get to sit by the fireplace after all etc....

 My favorite holiday tradition is going to church on Christmas Eve (the children's service) in the evening.   Then a nice long ride around some of the surrounding neighborhoods to see their lights.  Then, home for a family Christmas Eve party of snacks, games, and singing carols!    

We won't be doing that this year as we are headed to Disneyworld on Saturday for the week which will also be fun!   Merry Christmas Everyone...
