I just called St. Mary's to see if Melanie has had her surgery. She was scheduled for 8 a.m. I believe. They said they believe she is in surgery as of now. And from personal experience I know they can run behind so I will keep you posted as I know something and try to contain it to this thread.

Ok I called again and they said as far as they know she is in the OR. I had to pretend to be her sister in order to get that info lol.

Melanie is finally out of Surgery and I just spoke to her Husband. She is doing well, she is in and out of sleep of course but the surgery went good and who can ask for more!!
I will be calling to see if I can talk to her personally later on tonight but in case there is anyone who may also want to call she st St. Mary's in room 464.

I just spoke to Melanie she sounds really good..just tired. She expects to be released tommorrow afternoon. I am sure we will all hear from her later this week.
