I am sorry the news was not better but they don't do revisions lightly so I am sure Dr Halmi will try to come up with another plan before the only option left to you, is to take away your tool. Hang in there and good luck with your appointment...

Hi Jackie!!  I don't think the revision would intell a reversal.  From what I have read, it would be taking out more of my instine and removing the affected area.  Which I am not to found of that idea either.  That would mean it would be a more distal and I would mal absorb more and could cause more weight loss.  I do not need to lose to much more.  And I mean 8 lbs.  But I am anxious to see what he says.  When I scheduled, I requested him and him only.  I hope he has other options then a revision.  I do not want surgery.  And I can not go into surgery right now either..

Well that is good if there is no reversal..... You never know - Dr Halmi is a very talented surgeon so maybe he can think of something else to try for now........... I have everything crossed for you!
