Thankful for the easy, grateful for the hard & hopeful for tomorrow.
Brenda we are a support group I started not long after my surgery back in 2005, I went through my surgery alone, and I decided nobody should have to be alone, so I started it and it was a hit and we meet every 4th Sat. usually a month, but this month we had to move it up. We have lunch get together chat w/ one another about our journeys the good and bad I kinda let them do there thing Im the leader and we have a topic once in awhile and this month we are working on a xmas party fundraising to help fund a get together in Dec. Jackie Thodos has one her and Sue Baker there in Fredericksburg but I think theres is during the week. Here the weekend works better for most of us. And FFP stands for Formerly Fat People yrs back at one of our meets we had a name put in by many people 3 were drawn and then voted and this was the winner by the member of one that atteneds daughter who helped her come up w/ the name.
