Up 2 lbs?  Hmmm...retaining water?  Portions too big?  Ohhhh, I know...licking the beaters from all those gorgeous cakes you're making!  That's it!!!  Have you devised a sugarfree or low sugar cake yet??  (am hinting for a Cindy cake for our luncheon...wink, wink)

I have no doubt that you will make those pesky 2 lbs dissappear, along with a couple extra.  You're an oldtimer...you know what to do.

Hugs!
Ann

I  weighed in at 234.0 this morning, still up from my low of 230.

Thanks for weighing in, Ken!  Ok, gotta question for ya.  You say "still up from my low of 230."  WHEN did you restart your trek downward again?  Have you lost since then?  Since this is your first weigh-in here, how about giving us a starting point?  I'm trying to figure out if we're celebrating your loss or need to give you encouragement/advice/suggestions to help you back down...lol.  A little clarity, my brother.

Hugs!

For the last couple of months, I have been stalled at 230, gaining and lossing 3 or 4 pounds and got as high as +6 lbs. It is just going up and down but cannot break the 230 mark. Kinda the same thing that happened when I was on Weigh****chers. I lost 49 lbs in 6 months and could not loose another pound even with sticking to my diet/points.

Ok, let's take this to the masses then & see what kind of responses we get.  Watch for a new thread on this topic.  It looks like you're not the only one having a tough time.  Take heart, Ken...we'll find a way to bust you loose! lol

First off, Penny, thank you for hosting this thread every week!  I just LOVE it!!

No worries about being late...if it hadn't been for Heide calling me, I wouldn't have posted till Tuesday...lol.  I love 3-day weekends but they sure mess me up sometimes.

Sorry for your friends' family's loss, but happy for her.  She's in a good place now.  And she saw you paying your respects...that's special.

Honey, don't be embarrassed by the gain.  You made some good points as to why it may have been up a bit.  So weigh in again when you haven't eaten late or drank a soda (tsk, tsk...you know you ain't supposed to have that...lol) & see if you've lost.  I'll bet you have.  The important thing is that you are monitoring your progress & paying attention to what you're doing.  I applaud you for assessing what the problem may be & figuring out how to fix it.  That's great & I'm proud of you!

I can see I'm gonna have to post a thread about mindset...I did it a long time ago...guess it needs to be refreshed.

Hugs!
Ann
