OK so i am about 3 weeks post op. I havenn't been feeling any signs of being hungry.....until lately. I am not sure if its because i upped my workout and my body is burning through the food i eat faster or what. Its just really starting to get really annoying. Its almost becoming hard to fight the feeling but i know i must.
Any ideas on what i can do to stop these feelings?

Just a quick answer vefore I leave...It is probably head hunger.  You should not be truly hungry for anything if you are doing everything properly and getting in all of your water for the day.

Keep busy, keep hydrated and make sure you get in all of your protein.  The combination of these things should help.  Best of luck!  :)

I asked my doc the same thing at about 3 months out. I was told to up my protein and that is key for me. Sometimes I will just have oatmeat for breakfast and then I'm hungry about an hour later. If I add protein to it, then I'm good for a while longer.

Good luck,

I had the same problem earlier than most.  My issue was that I had such a long busy day that I burned through too quickly.  At that time I was working two jobs, 14 - 16 hours a day, the 3 meals and 2 shakes were not enough to substain me, I ended up having to add in 2 snacks.

It could be head hunger also.  Up your water, keep busy, etc.  If it just doesn't go away, add an extra protein shake in and see how that works for you.

Good am Danie,

You've gotten some great responses here. Definitely check with your surgeon's office. Lots of us folks get/got head hunger. You THINK you are hungry when you're really not. Other times its like what has been mentioned before my reply; you need to focus on getting in great fluids & uping protein as well. Sip, sip, sip!

All best!
