Try to substitute. For example, if you are craving chocolate, then maybe have sugar free pudding or popsicle. Try to get creative. Maybe some low fat pepperoni with melted mozzarella cheese, instead of pizza.

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone!!  I am trying to stay busy but since I dont have a job sometimes that is difficult.  Besides I still get tired so easily!  I do have a few new projects I am going to start so maybe that will help.

My way to combat head hunger was very much unorthodox...I would watch the food channel!!  Jot down a new recipe to make for the family.  MY way was to desensitize myself.  Can't imagine it would work for everyone, but it works for me.

Also, are you crafty at all?  I mean, Christmas is coming up...maybe you could work on some homemade presents.  I ALWAYS have some sort of project in my hands...mostly knitting or crocheting.  Just a thought.
