Those with VSG in Virginia, Hampton Roads area

Hi!
I unfortunately have been out of the loop for awhile. I had my VSG 2/26/2008 and traveled to Mexico for it since I was paying cash etc etc etc

Well I have a friend who is interested in WLS. She doesnt want RNY so may go with the realize band  but I told her to look into VSG also. so sinc eits been awhile since I researched area surgeons. I wanted to ask you all here if there are any new surgeons in the area that do VSG and if there has been any changes covering the procedure.

So virginia who did your VSG?

I am in No VA.      I am Federal BCBS     My program has been approving VSG since 1/2008
Seeing more and more Fed and non Fed insurance slowly covering the VSG.   Many are appealing to the insurance companies and getting approved.
