everything taste so sweet

I am on liquids and can barely get them down. My doc told me to try gatorade. At first that worked but now that even taste to sweet, I've tolerates chicken broth and some unsweetened applesauce but bow tha apple sauce seem sweet.  Water is ok just cant drink it too cold. Any suggestions

Dont worry everything tasted so sweet to me at first also. I could not even stand sugar free popsicles, but with time everything started to taste rather good, however I had to add water to everything, just not to have such a sweet taste. Hang in there it will get better.
