Most likely the gas.  Walking helps ease it out.  Try a bunch of short walks as often as you can.

Try Gas-X strips. They helped me alot after surgery.

Hope you feel better, Penny

MerMer, I am glad to see you are safely out of surgery. I am sorry about the tummy pains though. I have quite a few friends that have experienced this as well. Wondering if it is gas.

I have heard a lot of complaints about post-op gas.  Does anyone know why this happens?

Thanks

It most likely is post op gas and walking and gas x strips do help tremendously.  Yes, it is a problem after surgery but it is manageable.  I'll take that over being fat any day of the week!
