I agree with Christy. I started my journey in June of last year with my intro class and number being assigned. I had my surgery in January and it has been a great ride. The support from the Bariatric staff/ nutrition/docs there is great. I would have had my surgery in December, but everyone went on vacation over the holiday and they didn't do any elective surgeries then.

Its a true learning experience (still learning) and you need that time to absorb your new lifestyle.
