Back from Vacation!
I know ya'll missed me! I was in TN for Spring Break...the first part of the week was the obligatory in-law visit. I was in rural TN/KY area and had to stand on my head with my feet behind my back to get cell service! LOL...then, we went to Chattanooga for some FUN!.
We had a great time but, I missed my bed and my OH folks!
We did have a few scary moments...I mean, it is ME after all. We arrived late at night on Thursday the 9th and I had to save the "Easter Bunny" from a chicken wire fence. Stupid rabbit tried to jump through the fence and got his hind end caught. I pulled the fence apart and then gave him a boost. Aimee and Aidan were SO happy that mommy saved the Easter Bunny-LOL...Edward locked himself and the kids in the car and told me to go ahead and get rabies-LOL...but, I couldn't very well leave the poor thing to die in the fence!
Then, on Friday-there were tornados---yes, I said tornados! LOL-I mean, seriously? These things really do happen to me all of the time...are ya'll getting that impression? :-)
On Tuesday the 14th, Aidan woke up and was unable to walk. He had very swollen lymph nodes in his neck and was just pale and really sick looking. I was just sure that the ER doc was going to tell me he had cancer. Thankfully, he was diagnosed with a UTI and placed on antibiotics.
His glands are still very swollen so, I am guarded about that diagnosis and will look into further when the antibiotics are finished. My nurse brain jumps to the worst conclusions always.
The good news is, we made several hours long trips and didn't wreck even one car! LOL Hope all is well here!
