If you do go see a new doctor, you might want to report to your insurance company just why you are having to get a second opinion.   Sometimes insurance companies have more pull with Doctors.  Certainly if this doctor keeps costing them money, they are going to get on the ball and do something.  I would probably report this problem to the hospital he woks with also.  I just think the more we point out these types of issues to responsible agencies, the better chance they get taken care of and the less the doctor gets away with.

Of course I'm a stickler when it comes to responsibilities, so I probably would have given the doctor a what for too.

I am so happy that I get daily reminders of what wonderful sisters I have in all of you!  It took me a couple of days, but I woke up in good spirits this morning...much better than the past two.

I fully intend to seek a 2nd opinion.  As a matter of fact, I called Dr. Mo's office Monday afternoon to find out who he might recommend.  I am, at this very moment, on hold to find out who it will be.  I also intend to contact my former family doctor to see who HE might recommend as well.

I agree that all this should probably be reported to the insurance company as well as the hospital here, but I'm reluctant to do that.  The reason being that this is a very small, rural area & I'm afraid that if I stir the pot too much, it could jeapordize future medical needs.  I hate to say it, but doctors are like cops...they stick together & some wouldn't think twice about hanging a "bad" patient out to dry & still cover their tracks.  It's not like there's an over abundance of cardiologists in this area & I already fired one from here.  I can't afford to alienate then all because I would pay the ultimate price.  So for the moment, until I get more info from whomever the 2nd opinion doc will be, I'm gonna just keep the boat steady.  Don't worry...I'm not gonna let him get away with anything if I find out he's been screwing with me, but for now...well, you know.

In the meantime, I'm just gonna continue doing what I think is best for me, which means pushing the edge a little when I'm feeling up to it.  Now that I know what the setting is for a shock to be delivered (185), I just have to make sure I don't get my heart rate up above oh, let's say 130?

Ok, I finally got off of being on hold at Dr. Mo's office & I now have 3 recommendations.  Now to get an appt with one of them.  This should be interesting.

Thank you so much for all your love, support & suggestions.  You ALL rawk!!!

Hugs!
Ann
