Hello dear OH family! Update
Hi everyone...
First, let me say thank you to everyone for your gifts-you know who you are and what I'm speaking of. You will never really know exactly how blessed I am and feel for all of you.
Next....holy smokes---I FEEL GOOOOOOOD! I have NOT had ANY pain in TWO solid weeks! I am eating regular foods and preparing to wean off of the TPN. I will leave my PICC line in for a little while yet JUST to make sure. But, I'm feeling VERY confident that the new med that Dr. Mo put me on is doing the trick.
I can't even begin to tell you how amazing that feeling is. To think that I'm around that bend! To think that I'm almost out of the woods and can continue on my weight loss journey in earnest! The JOY I feel is just priceless.
It's been 19 long months of fighting this fight...and I am still about 80 pounds from my goal. This has been hampered by the sheer amount of calories in the TPN-- 1800 calories...something that I cannot take in by mouth at all.
I tell you, I am so excited...can you tell? Hubby and I are talking about babies and actually feeling like we might be able to start trying sometime in the near-ish future... something that we couldn't even start to discuss before.
You all have had a hand in my healing process. Just by being here and being supportive and taking the time to let me know you're praying for me or thinking of me and my family. You all have become such a big part of my life and heart. I do hope to meet each and every one of you....I've met several of you and Ann and I are joined at the hip! If we're together--look out! LOL
So, from the bottom of my butt (it's bigger than my heart), I love you all and thank you!
