I am almost 7 weeks out have lost 28lbs.  I feel like it should be more. I can eat anything but red meats, pork, breads and rice.  Not allowed to eat them yet.  Do not like the plain Greek yogurt.  The flavored has a lot of sugar in it.  My blood sugars have decreased alot with just this weight loss.

There really is quite a choice you can have here. Also I hardly know anyone who likes plain greek yogurt - we all doctor it up with spenda and something else - personally I have it with Splenda and s/f jello pudding mix - love the butterscotch, banana or the chocolate!

You could have:

scrambled eggs with cheese - and/or ham
omeletts with cheese and mushroom - or any other kind of veg and salsa
cheese quiche with anything you want to add into it ( like to make a crustless spinich, cheese and onion quiche and eat it a few times int he week)
oatmeal made with spenda and some raisins
cottage cheese with yoghurt - you can buy snack size ones with hardly any sugar in them at all
ham with cheese rolled up in it and slightly melted if desired

I am not very imaginitiver but there are many others on here who are !

Also if you go onto eggface's page (I think it is www.theworldaccordingtoeggface.com    ) she has some great recipe's

Being almost 4 years out I prefer a variety.  My staple breakfast items include:

Greek yogurt mixed with some sweet and low and some sort of fruit (pinapple is my fav in this)
oatmeal made with skim milk and some granola or grape nuts added for crunch
regular yogurt...love yoplait light or kroger carb master brands
eggs~over medium as I can't do scrambled at all
some kind of fresh fruit that is in season
cottage cheese ixed with some fruit

On really weird days I have dinner for breakfast and breakfast for dinner...all depends on my taste buds!

Thanks for your help.  that Greek yogurt I can't do the plain and the fruit has a lot of sugar.  I love pineapple but the cans seem to have a lot of sugar.  What kind do you use.  I am 7 weeks out and can eat anything but red meat, breads, pork, and rice.  I don't want to get tired of the same thing every morning.  I know you can't wait until your daughter is born.

sorry about the delete. Seems to be technical difficulties.

Why can't you do the plain?  Is it the flavor?  I add flavored splenda to my greek yogurt.  They have Mocha, French Vanillia, haselnut.  It is very yummy with adding a sweetner to it.  I personally can not do fruit in my plain Greek yogurt.  I do not like the taste.  I usually use Kashi Go Lean Ceral of high protien Bare Naked gornola.  The fuit flovors do have a lot of sugar in them, and it would be best to get your fruitose from regular fruit.  You could buy some berries or frozen fruit and add it to your yogurt.

I am allergic to Splenda so I do not use that at all.  I only use the fresh fruit...never canned.  For the small amounts we are eating the sugar content is not too much for me...but check with your nutritionist!
