Update doctors appointment

Things are going pretty good and went to the doctor this morning and will be out at least another week and Monday will be going to St Mary's for a echo cardiogram to check for blockages that was not done before I left the hospital and going on cholestrol meds and no matter how much leg cramps I get I have to deal with them and this and the aspirian will help with keeping the strokes down. I am walking everyday now and will continue.
Did blood work and will get the results soon and will know sometime after monday and how things will be going. I am down from 241 to 236.6 by the doctors scale today so not bad. I do not know whose scales to believe they all weight me differently. Still watching my diet and feeling stronger everyday. Everyone is in my prayers and throughts.

Glad things went well.  How about the cane?  Do you still need that for walking?  Keep up the momentum and get the meds going and you should feel better in no time!

The cane well only when I need it but if someone is with me I do not have to use it anymore. The only time I am really going to need it is to balance but I am going to start going without it. He said still the left leg is still a little weak but getting better. I went down the steps without it today and did ok. So things are getting better. Yea I am so happy to be able to do somethings without the cane. Going to go and get the new meds and get started on them. Like I said I will put up with the leg cramps rather than have another stroke.

Exercise and eating right will help a lot with the leg cramps.

Pat,

You are in a great frame of mind and moving ahead with new meds and continuing to exercise and strengthen yourself will be a great help I'm sure.

How many strokes have you had if you don't mind my asking, and how old are you???
