I always do the fun pass. For Virginia residents, it's 60 per person 3 and over. You can go all summer starting the end of March to September 7 (I think). You don't get a break on parking or food, but it's more affordable for us.

They do monthly payments on the yearly pass (which I think is 80-90 per person). With the yearly pass, I think you also get Halloween.

If you plan on going more than 3 times during the summer it is better price wise to get one pass and the rest fun cards so that you can have the free parking and the food/merch discounts. If you add up three times at $10.00 per visit for parking then anything else is just a bonus! We used to do it that way but went ahead and upgraded to pass for the parking, access to sea world when we go to Florida and Howl-O-Scream, too. Just a thought!

I have never been to Busch Gardens. How is it? Do they have lots of rides? Is it very crowded? We may take the kids this year.

I absolutely love BG. They have a good amount of rides and are good at all levels. They have a special kids land and are adding something new this year (sesame street). The rollar coasters are awesome! I like Kings Dominion but it is all black top for walking and not much shade. It gets too hot for my liking. It can get crowded but generally it is not too bad as long as you do not go on "special" weekends. Even then the crowds are only around certain attractions. The shows are great and the shopping (window shopping for me) is nice, too. Let me know if you are coming and I can get you discount tickets. We could even meet you up there and share our free parking if you are interested! Just let me know.

I am taking vacation in August this year. I think we are going to the beach and spend a couple days in Williamsburg. I would love some discount coupons. I don;t really like Kings Dominion either. The rides are too far apart which lead to excessive walking I think. I live closer to Carowinds in NC/SC (on the line). I like that pretty good.

Let me know closer to the date when you are coming and I will get you whatever discounts I can. Also, let me know if you all want company when you are down this way and we can meet up at the park. I also get a discount on anything (including food) that I buy in the park and I also advised for you to take your own snacks/protein drinks in...they are NOT WLS friendly!
