OT--vent and suggestions needed
First off, let me start by saying to Betty...I am so sorry about Jackie's accident... having just lived and still living through my husbands horrendous car accident, I can relate to all of the emotions and stuff that goes through your head. We are praying for Jackie's recovery and for her pain to be lessened. It's tough and I'm sure she has a tough road ahead. Edward's biggest issue now (at four weeks out) is his ribs and his Left hand and left foot. Everything else seems to be healing fine.
On to the OT...
Because of my constant hospital stays, I can't really have a job because I can't be reliable due to the nature of these ulcers. I may be fine for a few weeks and then I'm not fine and end up in the Hospital for a week or more.
Long story short...I haven't really worked in several months and now that my hubby's accident has happened...we are seriously in a bad place.
We are on the verge of losing our home and I just don't know what to do. We've called our mortgage lender and they have continually told us that we do not qualify for any special programs because we've not lived in our home for a year. Yesterday, I finally got someone to at least suggest HUD to me...a thought that I hadn't had up to this point. I will be calling them on Monday to see what we can do.
In the meantime, if anyone is familiar with the mortgage industry or familiar with trying to keep from going into a foreclosure situation, please let me know.
I'm terrified and worried and sad and it's all just more stress at this point than I can handle anymore.
Even if you don't have any advice at all, please send up a prayer. I just don't really know where else to go...and you all have been wonderful support and I know you'll pray! :-)

I am so sorry to hear about your financial difficulties. I will ask my best friend about different options you may have. She has fallen on hard times too and had options but chose not to take them. See opted for Bankruptcy to rid herself of her home(it needs too much work). I will PM you sometime today with info. Keep your head up!!
