Hi All,  l'm enjoying this board.   I had my open RNY on 1/14/09.   Okay - l may be a little challenged - how in the world do l do a little tracker thingy like you guys?   Also,  l need help finding protein shakes that are reasonably priced any help?    Look forward to meeting all of you and soon l'll figure out how to upload a pic!

Welcome to the Va Board

Congrats on the recent WLS.. Welcome to the Loser Bench!!!

I dont remember how I got my tracker but you might be able to click on mine and then follow the instructions... Might work

Protein? I get mine from Walmart  I get the EAS  carb control ready to drink it comes in a 4 pack and cost around $5 ( I use these when I know I wont be at home to get my protein in) I prefer the Chocolate Fudge flavor reminds me of chocolate milk. Also I use the EAS carb control powder mix  I get at Walmart or Sams Club for about $28  and it lasts a long time.

Hope this helps and cant wait to get to know you better!!

Welcome to the board and the losers bench!  I also use the EAS AdventEDGE carb control from Wal-Mart.  I get the ready to drink ones.  They are more convenient to me and tast better.  The chocolate fudge rocks!  I also get a lot of protein from yogurt, cottage cheese and SF pudding that I make with a scoop of unflavored UNJURY.  You can also use carnation instant breakfast, sugar free (blue box) made with 8 oz of skim milk and 1/3 cup of nonfat powdered milk.  This is good for 20 grams of protein per drink and is really inexpensive considering the other choices out there.  Good luck!

Good morning! Glad to see you have your protein. Personally I can't stand them, so I am not sure what I am going to do after I get off this feeding tube.

Glad to hear your surgery went well. Make sure to visit often and always feel free to ask questions. Without the people on this board, I don't know what I would have done!!

For when you have to have them...get the Unjury unflavored or ANYWHEY which is also truly unflavored and withstands the heat when you cook with it.  I add them both to tons of things for boosts!  I have lots of smoothie recipes, too!
