OT - Something just dawned on me

I was just thinking about sewing and realize that I can now use my dress form again! It's been retired since 1994 when I sewed my last dress on it when I was last a size 16. How stinking cool!

I guess this means I will definately have to consider buying a new machine. I've been looking for an excuse but laziness and not wanting to plunk down the money has deterred me from buying new or repairing my old one. I see a new sewing machine in my future this year. :) Maybe I can pick up my old hobby again. My last project was right before my surgery. I made six dog coats for a parade for my local dog shelter. I miss crafting myself up new goodies!

You really need to go ahead and get one...and make yourself something new now! I can't wait to see what you make. I know you are great at it and after you get the machine...all the rest is not horribly expensive. Dog coats are awesome. Our daschound mix wears them all the time in the winter and we just got a new puppy. She needs something to wear but everything is too small. She is only 1 lb, 10 ounces!
