Hormones took over!!

Well here we go. As some of you know I had an appt with my surgeon today. I went all the way to dr. office (off 64-E) and get there to find out my surgeon decided AGAIN to do a "quickie" surgery during his lunch break. Ok so that doesn't sound bad but was informed there were complications and he wouldn't be out of surgery until at least 3:30. My appt was for 1:15pm and of course my hormones are out of whack so I damn sure aint waiting on him when he is my employee!! I fired him today and told his receptionist I better not get billed for a visit that didn't happen!! Anyways now I have to find another surgeon that will take my case now (close to me) or just wait till I move to GA and get one then. I'm going to Patient First in morning(they are my PCP w/ new insurance) to get blood work done to check for deficiencies. I needed to vent and as I am angry right now I am crying too. I'm not use to being so sensitive and moody

I do understand your frustration but honestly you NEED to have your surgeon do your blood work. Even if you have to go to another's office before you go to GA. You are leaving too far away from now and it needs to be done! As for Patient Worst...oh I mean First...think again about them being your PCP, please. In my line of work I NEVER recommend them to ANYONE for ANY reason!

I personally have never had a problem with them. When I had the bladder infection I couldnt get a call back from my surgeon or pcp so I went to patient first and they treated it quickly for me as well as checked me for dehydration and gave me IV fluids. It works for us as my husband works swing-shift and he cant see a dr with normal hrs. Maybe its the office I go to but I have really liked them there.

I asked about getting blood work done and she(nurse) said I would have to wait on him to see him and ask him about getting it done since he normally doesnt order blood work till 6 months out.

Sorry that you have troubles at the doctors today. I HATE waiting for them. They are almost always late and don't seem to care.

That was my main issue. They act like your time doesnt mean anything. I could of been at home sleeping (lol) instead of wasting my time driving 40 mins each way to have to wait on my doctor? I think not!! How have you been lately?

I am still alive. lol. I am sitting at 301 lbs for a week and it is driving me nuts. I dont eat, so I should be loosing. I have the shakes and that's it. Oh well. Work has been really stressful lately and not sure what I should be doing. UGH! I wish I could afford to stay at home or have at least a less stressful job.
